    Synopsis:At sixteen, Dinah Adler's life is not especially glamorous or complicated. So SHOCK #1 for Dinah is that she's been asked out by Geoff Ruggles, star quarterback and all-around great guy at her high school. SHOCK #2 is that her usually supportive, loving family objects. Dinah's grandparents and her mother try to warn her that dating eventually leads to marriage. And since Geoff and Dinah aren't of the same religion, why start something they shouldn't finish?

    But marriage is the firthest tjhing from Dinah's mind. Still, deep dow she knows her family only wants her to be happy, and a part of her understands that her values and religious convictions point up big differences between her and Geoff. It certainly doesn't help that Geoff doesn't understand the family's objections at all.
